A horrific accident that has claimed the lives of millions of people

About 300 years ago, at the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century, the technical, social and economic conditions in the western countries improved drastically. The Deep Water Horizon Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico on April 20, 2010 is considered to be one of the worst accidents in history. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a U.S. military base. The accident also caused huge financial loss. According to an investigation, 4.9 million barrels of oil were spilled in the Gulf of Mexico in the accident. As a result, the company lost billions of dollars. Millions of birds, turtles, fish and other marine creatures lost their lives in this accident. It has been 11 years since this incident. However, it is also affecting marine life and the environment. In addition, 11 people lost their lives in the incident. In 2014, 14 people working for the company were convicted. The convicts were also fined Rs 71,000 billion.

There was a coal mine in the Bensi region of China. The mine was started in 1905 and was called Hunkai’s Coil Mine. On April 26, 1942, while workers were working, the mine suddenly exploded. Gas started coming out of the mine being excavated. The pressure of that gas was so high that there was a bigger explosion as the gas came out. Large rocks, gas and dust were flying in the sky in that explosion. A total of 1,549 miners were killed in the accident. Today, the accident is known as the Bensicoil Disaster. Which is the biggest accident in the history of China.

On July 10, 1976, there was an explosion in the Italian city of Civeso. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a chemical manufacturing company called ICME. There was a sudden chemical explosion and the toxin poisoning was released into the air. The blast poisoned the air. The poison that spreads in the air is called DCDD. The blast killed 3,300 animals around the company and killed the remaining 80,000 to prevent the spread of poisoning. Although the immediate human toll was not so great, the 37,000 people who came in contact with the chemical had long-term effects. A forest park has been set up at the site.
