A place known as the roof of the world, where you can’t walk alone

Tibet was once an independent state. But now China has taken over. This state is 8.28 times bigger than Nepal. Tibet is spread over an area of ​​1.221 million square kilometers. Even though the area is so large, the population is only 3.2 million. The average life expectancy of the people here is 71 years. This area, which is predominantly Buddhist, is also called the roof of the world. Tibet is also famous as a religious place.

Once an independent state, Tibet is now an autonomous state of China. People here consider the Dalai Lama to be a living deity. Tibet is located at an altitude of 4,500 feet above sea level. The region is an important state in China. The people here strictly observe the traditions and customs. Dealing with young and old, interacting with each other, dress in festivals and observance of religion are important parts of the life of the people here.

There are 90 percent lamas here. Due to the large number of lamas, it is also called the world of lamas. The people here worship more and more. There is a rule that one member of each family should be Lama. They live in monasteries. The guru of all these lamas is one, called the Dalai Lama. The Dalai Lama is the ruler of Tibet and is worshiped as a living deity.

Although Tibet is small, it is the source of six major rivers in Asia, the Mik, the Brahmaputra, the Indus, the Yanji, the Salve, and the Yando. The water here quenches the thirst of most of the people in the world. This place is surrounded by snow mountains. Tibet is famous all over the world for its naturally clean water. People here read several times a day. A person takes prayer as meditation.

The world’s highest peak, Mount Everest, is climbed even from Tibet. Most of the people here are engaged in animal husbandry as well as farming. People here like to eat samba made by grinding barley flour. So saliva is also the staple food of this country.

Everyone here has to move around in a family or group. Walking alone is not allowed. Animals are raised in the basement of the house and families live upstairs. The house here is not crowded. There is a hole in the roof of the house. The sun comes in through this hole and the house smoke comes out through this hole. The houses here are stacked on top of each other.

It gets colder here. Because of this, people here bathe at least 12 times a year. The people here make a special kind of tea. People drink tea up to 30 times a day.
