Director Acharya said that Kamirita managed to set the 25th record. Climbing of Mount Everest (8,848.86 m) has started in the spring of this year. A 12-member Sherpa climber, led by legendary climber Kamirita Sherpa, reached the summit of Mount Everest this evening while rope-fixing.
According to the Department of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, the first ascent of the highest peak, Mount Everest, started after the team reached Chuchura at 6 pm and opened the door. Director of the department Mira Acharya said that the ascent of Everest has started with rope fixing and congratulated the team involved in the ascent.

So far, more climbers have taken permission to climb Mount Everest this spring amid the Kovid-19 epidemic. According to the department, 408 climbers from the highest group of 43 climbers have taken permission to climb Mt. Everest. There are 93 women and 315 men. According to the mountaineering branch of the department, 742 climbers from 85 climber groups, including 43, have taken permission to climb Mt. Everest.
