Miss Universe is an annual international beauty pageant that is run by the United States–based Miss Universe Organization. Different contestants from the different countries participate in this beauty pageant and show their inner and outer talents to the world. Likewise, from our country Nepal, Miss Universe Nepal Anshika Sharma had participated for Miss universe 2020 as a Nepali contestant. This beauty pageant was held in Hollywood, Florida, USA. Though she could not win the title of Miss universe but is lucky enough to win the hearts of many Nepalese and international peoples.
Anshika was born on 10th July, 1997 at Kathmandu and is 23 years old. She had gone to Australia 6 years before to pursue higher degree education. After completing the bachelor degree of four years, she decided to work in that foreign land. Looking towards her academic career, she holds the bachelor degree in Information Technology, major in Business science from the CQ University, Australia and after that she gained the work experience of 2 years in that land. She decided to take part in the Miss universe Nepal. As a result, she resigned from her work and returned back to her home land, Nepal. She is a very beautiful girl with a beautiful face and fabulous height. She is 5 feet 9-inch-tall and her weight is about 50 kg. She was one of the taller contestants in the Miss Universe Nepal platform. She is fond of traveling, shopping and taking photography. Her birth place is Biratnagar and her old property also lies there. She is a beautiful daughter of mother Mala Sharma and father Balkrishna Sharma. She won the Miss Nepal Title and was declared as a Miss Universe Nepal on 30th December, 2020 among the many contestants. As she has a unique name, and she was asked about the meaning of her name, she replied as “A beautiful gift of god.” Not only that she also added up saying she is unique in her eyes as well. Nepal is showing its involvement in the world popular Miss universe beauty pageant only since the 2017B.S and it has been almost 5 years of enrollment in this platform and Anshika is the fourth contestant to take part from our country Nepal. The first contestant who got the opportunity to take part in Miss universe was Nagma Shrestha and after that the chain of this participation in the international world goes every year. The final contest of the Miss universe show was held yesterday on16th May and the 69th Miss Universe title was won by Andrea Meza from Mexico. Though Anshika could not win the Miss universe 2020 title, all the blessings are there for her upcoming days.
