CPN-UML leader and former prime minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that he has decided not to cast a vote of confidence and will be absent from the House of Representatives meeting to secure the future of the country, people and democracy.
In a statement issued on Monday evening, he said that Prime Minister Oli was not present at the meeting as it would not be appropriate to give him a vote of confidence from any point of view including the interest of the nation and the people, constitutional recognition, political ethics and dignity of democracy. Nepal believes that this decision is a sign of loyalty to our country, people and party.
