Congress’s lead after counting of vote|| Balen doubles ahead | Before Renu victory

Counting of votes in all the municipalities of Manang has been completed. UML has won two municipalities in Manang and Nepali Congress has won two municipalities. Similarly, the voting results of four municipalities of Mustang have also been made public. Where UML has won three seats. Similarly, UML has also won one municipality of Dolpa.

Out of the 12 municipalities, UML is in the first position, Congress is in the second position and CPN-U is in the third position. The CPN-Maoist Center has won one seat.

Nepali Congress is in the second place after winning two seats in Manang and one in Mustang. CPN (Unified Socialist) has been elected unopposed. However, the CPN-Maoist has opened an account from Dolpa.

UML’s Lokendra Bahadur Ghale has been elected for the second time as the chairman of Chame village municipality of Manang. In the village municipality where 610 votes were cast, he won with 320 votes.

His nearest rival, Chiring Dorje Lama of the Nepali Congress, got 279 votes. Congress’ Mingmar Doma Lama has won the election with 325 votes.

In the local level election of 2074 BS, Ghale was elected as the chairman of this municipality while the vice-chairman was won by the Nepali Congress. This time too, the Vice President has won.

Similarly, Kancha Ghale of UML has been elected as the chairman of Manang Ngisyang village municipality. Ghale won with 861 votes. Congress’ Chhiring Ongma Gurung got 713 votes.

Independent candidate Chhiring Gurung won the election with 744 votes. Congress candidate Rinjen Dhorje Gurung got 719 votes.

Nepali Congress has so far won in three municipalities. The Congress, which is leading in most of the constituencies, has already won in two municipalities of Manang and one municipality of Mustang.

Nepali Congress has won the chairmanship of Narpa Bhumi village municipality and Naso village municipality of Manang. Congressman Konjo Tenzing Lama has won from Narpa land. Lama won the election with 158 votes. His rival independent candidate Krishna Lama got 111 votes. Three hundred and four votes cast

UML’s Funcho Lama has been elected unopposed as the vice-chairman. The Nepali Congress had won the chairmanship of Narpabhumi village municipality in 1974 BS. At that time, an unopposed chairman was elected here.

Nepali Congress candidate Dhan Bahadur Gurung has won the election. He got 820 votes. UML’s Man Bahadur Gurung has received 646 votes. Ved Bahadur Gurung of the UCPN (M) has won the election by getting 113 votes.

Similarly, Mohan Singh Lalchan of Nepali Congress has won in Gharpajhong village municipality of Mustang district. He won with 760 votes. His rival Sanjay Kumar Thakali of UML got 758 votes.

In 2074 BS, Ash Bahadur Thakali had won on behalf of CPN-UML. Congress’ Jamuna Thapa Magar has won the election with 693 votes. UML’s Mim Kumari Sherchan got 618 votes.
