The Dhurmus Suntali Foundation dream project Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium has been completed 30 percent by now. However, it is seen that there will be financial problem for the complete completion of the stadium. Therefore, Mechi-Mahakali campaign has been started to mobilize financial support for the construction of the stadium. The campaigners will reach every district of Nepal and spend two days there informing them about the stadium.
The campaign will start from Kanchanpur in the west from tomorrow. Sitaram Kattel (Dhurmus), Arjun Ghimire (Pande), social activist Arjun Bhushal and others were not present in the performance. Sagar Thapa, chairman of the World Hindu Youth Association International Committee, has expressed his views on the same campaign of Dhurmus.
Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium is the first cricket stadium that is being built at Bharatpur-16,Chitwan, Nepal. The name was given by the name of Buddha (Light of Asia). The campaign of this stadium is being built under the guidance and support of Dhurmus-Suntali foundation. Sitaram kattel(Dhurmus) and Kunjana Ghimire(suntali) are the founder of this statidum. And it is being built under their support. The owner of the land where the cricket stadium is building is Bharatpur Metropolitan City.It covers the land of 20 bigha and 6 Khatta. It will be the national heritage and pride of our country Nepal. Its tenant is Nepal national cricket team.
It occupies the capacity of 30,000 peoples. The entrance gate of the stadium shows the traditional Nepalese architecture which includes- Pathivara, Buddasubba, Halesi, Janakpurdham,Gadimai,Badimalika, Swayambunath,Pashupatinath,Bindabasini,Siddha Baba, Swarga dwari, Lumbini and so on which tries to reflects the whole Nepal at one glance. The whole stadium will be in the shape of Stupa where the cricket stadium only will look like as flowering Lotus flower.
