A fire has broken out at a beer plant of Chaudhary Udyog village in Dumkauli of Nawalparasi (east of Bardaghat-Sustapur). Three fire engines including Nepal Army, Armed Police Force and Nepal Police have been used to control the fire that broke out this morning.
The cause of the fire could not be ascertained, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Dilip Kumar Giri. Giri said that the fire broke out at the Nepal Ice Beer Plant under Chaudhary Udyogagram in Devchuli-2 of the district. Giri said that the fire brigade of Nepal Army, Kawasoti Municipality and Khairhani Municipality of Chitwan were trying to control the fire.
The fire is still burning in the beer plant. CG Group chief and outgoing MP Binod Chaudhary has also reached the site of the fire. No casualties were reported in the blaze, police said. See picture below:
