I will go to court if party takes action to remove MP from post: Ram Kumari Jhankri

CPN-UML central member and MP Ram Kumari Jhankri has reacted after the CPN-UML sent a letter of explanation to 27 people including Madhav Kumar Nepal. She has warned to go to court if the party takes action against her.

Jhankri has warned that they will not leave the party under any circumstances but will take action against them. She argues that just as the decision of Prime Minister to dissolve the parliament cannot happend, she will also go to court to correct the decision of action.

“We will go to court because we have overturned the Prime Minister move to dissolve the House of Representatives,” she told reporters on Tuesday. She said that Oli had gone to court against the dissolution of the parliament and now she would go to court against those who took action against her. She called Oli’s move “illegal” and said they would take legal action. “We are fighting within the UML. They want us to leave, but we are fighting within the UML,” she said.
