Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Deuba

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on receiving a vote of confidence from Parliament. Modi tweeted congratulations to Deuba. It was announced that Deuba had received a vote of confidence from the House at around 10 pm. Less than half an hour later, his Indian counterpart Modi congratulated Deuba.

Wishing Deuba a successful tenure, Modi said he would work together to further the fundamental partnership and relationship between the two countries.Modi congratulated Deuba today as the issue of not congratulating Modi for a week after he was appointed as the Prime Minister was discussed in Nepal.

India has promised to Donate vaccine upto 2022:

India has vowed to vaccinate against corona by 2022. The UML government had paid for the vaccine in advance but India had not provided the vaccine. Nepal has already paid in advance for 1 million doses of vaccine. But Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has been promised a vaccine by India.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi held a telephone conversation on Monday. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two Prime Ministers had cordial talks on Monday.

Even after President Vidya Devi Bhandari appointed him as the Prime Minister, India did not formally congratulate Deuba. After Deuba received a vote of confidence from the parliament on Sunday, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi formally congratulated him. According to Foreign Ministry spokesperson Seva Lamsal, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured Nepal that he will provide corona vaccine to Nepal immediately.
