The Kathmandu Metropolitan City has spent only 22 percent of the budget so far in the current fiscal year. Deputy Mayor Sunita Dangol said that the metropolis has spent only Rs 3.51 billion in the first 11 months of the current fiscal year.
Which is only 21.63 percent of the total allocation. The metropolis had allocated a budget of Rs. 16.26 billion for the current fiscal year. Out of that, Rs. 2.26 billion has been spent on capital and infrastructure and Rs. 180 million has been spent on finance.
As of mid-November, the corporation has earned Rs 3.99 billion from internal sources and Rs 4.81 billion from external sources.
