Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli convened an all-party meeting on Saturday. Prime Minister Oli made the issue of MCC the main agenda of the discussion. Apart from MCC, three main issues were raised in the meeting.

In party meeting, Prime Minister Oli accused Speaker Sapkota of holding Parliament closed. After participating in the meeting, RPP Chairman Dr. Prakash Chandra Lohani told mediapersons that Prime Minister Oli had complained that the Speaker had not allowed the government to work.
Lohani said, “I have sought the opinion of the parties on how to find a way out of this.” In the all-party meeting, he expressed his displeasure towards the Speaker. ‘During the meeting, Prime Minister KP Oli expressed his displeasure over the Speaker’s role in the MCC. After that, the Congress and other parties said that the issue should not be taken up in the parliament and that it should be tabled for decision.
According to him, during the meeting, Oli also asked for suggestions on how to fight against the second wave of Corona. He suggested finding a political way out and engaging in important work including corona control. Lohani said. Prachanda and Nepal boycotted the all-party meeting. Prachanda himself had called Prachanda by phone. In response, Prachanda said that he would attend the meeting at Singha Durbar but would not go to Valuwatar. CPN-UML’s Madhav Kumar Nepal also boycotted the meeting.
Dr. Baburam Bhattarai and Upendra Yadav of Jaspa were not invited to the meeting. The meeting was attended by Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, Senior Leader Ram Chandra Poudel, Vice President Bimalendra Nidhi, General Secretary Purna Bahadur Khadka and Chief Whip Bal Krishna Khan. Chairman of the Janata Samajwadi Party Mahanta Thakur, leaders Laxman Lal Karna and Sarvendranath Shukla were present at the meeting.
