Local level Suspicion of manipulation on CCTV cameras at police stations

In order to make local elections free from fear, the Election Commission has strengthened various parties.  Correcting the weaknesses seen in Bharatpur Metropolitan City, the Election Commission has installed CCTV cameras at the polling stations.  The commission has said that the same camera will be installed in all constituencies.  Questions are being raised as to why VMA software cameras are needed that do not match any software.

Even though the wholesale price of this camera is fixed at 3500, retailers are charging arbitrary rent.  Although local traders have been selling cheap cameras, the Election Commission has ordered that the same cameras be kept everywhere.  The information officer at the Election Commission said that the decision was taken as it would be useful for the limited number of people.

After the Election Commission has given the election symbol to the candidates on April 3, they are expected to enter the field for 10 days.  The Election Commission has stated that the polling will be held from 7 am to 5 pm on April 12 after the end of the election campaign period and the two-day silence period.  Elections are being held in a single phase for 35201 posts at 753 local levels across the country. In an election with nearly 100,000 candidates, 15 million people are expected to cast their votes.  Only 6743 people will be elected as ODA chairperson, 293 mayors will be elected and the same number of deputy mayors will be elected.

The CPN (UML) has nominated Kesab Sthapit and Sunita Dhungol for the post of mayor and deputy mayor of Kathmandu sub-metropolis.  He was the first person to be accused of sexual violence. He was told by a journalist when asked about sexual violence that he could not be established if the man was not questioned.  He had said that it would rain.

In the last election, the UML had won 42% of the seats with 294 major and 321 deputy chiefs, while the Nepali Congress had won 326 seats with 266 major and 223 deputy chiefs.  The Maoists had won 15% of the seats, including the chief in 106 seats and the deputy chief in 111 seats.  The Federal Socialist Badi had won 4% of the seats, including 34 chiefs and 32 deputy chiefs, while the Rajpa had won 3% of the seats with 25 chiefs and 30 deputy chiefs.  Earlier, the UML and the Nepali Congress clashed, while the UML and the Maoists fought the election together.

The Maoists and the UML, who fought together in the past, are now fighting in a split.  He said that the UML candidate Kesab Sthapit will win in 2054 BS with 84,000 votes.  He said that the Nepali Congress candidate, the UML candidate is an expert in lying, so we should not talk like that.  He said that since Kesab Sthapit is developing everywhere, he has nothing else to do with Kesav Sthapit as he has young people with him.  Sthapit has said that he will win the coalition by getting double votes.
