Covid 19 Crisis Management Center CCMC has recommended the government to issue a ban if 200 corona is found infected in villages and 500 in urban areas.

The CCMC has recommended the government to issue a restraining order against 200 infected people in villages and 500 in urban areas.Minister for Health and Population Hridayesh Tripathi was of the view that hotspots should be closed. However, CCMC coordinator and Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokharel said that there should be no nationwide lockout. He said last year’s experience had confirmed that the corona could not be controlled even after the lockdown.

The Covid-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC) debated whether to lock down the chain of corona virus (Covid-19) infections.The CCMC has delegated the authority to impose a ban in such cases.

With the decision of the CCMC meeting held on Sunday, there are indications that the ban will be implemented in nine districts including Kathmandu immediately. Because, in some districts including Kathmandu, the number of infections has exceeded 500.

So far, the number of active infected has been reduced to 500 in all the three districts of the Kathmandu Valley, including Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur. Similarly, more than 500 people have been infected in Morang, Parsa, Kaski, Dang, Banke and Rupandehi, In the hilly districts, the CCMC has given the right to the local level to impose a ban with 200 cuts even if the number is not 500.
