Minister releases housewife arrested for not giving her room due to cast

The investigation file was submitted to the District Public Prosecutor’s Office. The public prosecutor’s office withdrew the case, saying there was no evidence against the housewife.

The woman was arrested on the charge of refusing to rent a room in her house to television presenter Rupa Sunar due to caste. She is a woman from Baber Mahal, Kathmandu. Police released him three days later.
