Parjita, Top 13: Parjita Bastola sings Adele song at voice of america

17-year-old Parijita Bastola of Nepalese origin has won the knockout round of the American singing reality show ‘The Voice’ and is showing good talent in live. She said that Parajita, who speaks Nepali fluently despite being born in America, is living in America and striving to make Nepal’s name shine in the world. Parajita said that even when her friend from America requested her to change her name, she did not change it because it is a name that is known to Nepal.

Parjita, a singer with a rich voice, sings Nepali English songs. After getting a lot of votes in the first week, she entered the second week. She won the knockout round by defeating Valarie Harding and Peyton Aldridge, who performed on behalf of coach John Legend. Parijita sang the lyrics of Etta James’ ‘I’d rather go blind’ in the knockout round. Coach John chose him among the three because of his good performance. Parijita has been winning the hearts of the coaches since the battle round. Coaches are praising him saying that he can perform well at a young age.

 

She turned the chairs of all four coaches while singing the lyrics of ‘Jealous’ by the blind audition singer Labrinth and gave a dual performance with two girls from The Marylind on the Bee Gees in the battle round. All three of them sang the lyrics of ‘How Deep Is Your Love’. In which Parijita gave a brilliant performance. The singing reality show ‘The Voice’ is being broadcast on NBC television in America. Many reputable media outlets in the world have made news about Parijita, a Nepali girl who is suddenly at the peak of discussion since the blind audition round of America’s famous reality show The Voice.

Britain’s famous Daily Mail has made Parijita the main headline when presenting the news about the audition of The Voice. He has mentioned in the title that ‘Parajita is the first Nepali American to compete in the show and has chosen a legend as a coach.’ She has won three rounds and received a lot of praise.

 

Parjita said that she felt honored to compete in The Voice as the first Nepali American. Parijita Banstola was born in Maryland, USA. He is the youngest child of father Pankaj Bastola and mother Bira Bastola. Currently living in Severna Park, Maryland, the Bastola family came to America from Jhapa, Nepal, 25 years ago. Initially, this family lived in Towson, Maryland. They also came to America from Kaptanwadi, Shanishchre in Jhapa, Nepal.

 

Parijita, who is currently studying in the 12th grade at Severna Park High School in Severna Park, Maryland, used to sing songs from an early age. Bira Bastola, Parijita’s mother, told DC Nepal, ‘We have recorded the song that Parijita sang at the age of four. Since then she has been enjoying music. Music is his life. There is no separate music course for Parijita. But she takes music classes in high school. Mother Bira said that she is studying college level music class in high school. For Parijita, piano and guitar classes are taught by having a separate teacher.
