Our journey to the beautiful lake of Rara begins with a flight from Kathmandu to Talcha airport via Nepalgunj from where we head out for a mesmerizing journey to reach the biggest and one of the most beautiful lake in Nepal!
Rara Lake at 2,990m, is the deepest lake in Nepal and also one of the most pristine. Surrounded by green hills on all sides, covered in juniper trees, one can camp by the sparkling waters of the lake.
Travel Itinerary:
Day 1: Kathmandu to Talcha via Nepalgunj by flight. Hike to Rara.
Day 2: Explore the scenic viewpoint of Murma top, walk around the lakeside and boating across Rara lake.
Day 3: Hike back to Talcha airport. Talcha to Kathmandu by flight via Nepalgunj.
