Nepal’s first ring road from Kathmandu to Lalitpur district is about 27 kilometers long. Its construction started in 1974 and was completed in 1977. Work on the second phase began in 2013 and was completed in 2018. Although the Chinese government will assist Nepal in the second phase of the work, it has not been able to move forward due to various reasons. Although the work on the ring road is now slowly improving, various development works are required to improve the road completely. It seems that the entire ring road in Kathmandu should be constructed in accordance with international standards to ensure the safety of pedestrians and cyclists.
The ring road improvement work of Kathmandu, which is being constructed under the auspices of China, has moved ahead. The Chinese government had carried out the 8-kilometer cycling work to be improved by China. While speeding up the road construction work across the country, the work of improving the ring road in Kathmandu, the capital of the country, is moving forward. The structure of the road has been constructed by making more improvements than the previous road. In the road made comfortable for pedestrians, 10 sky bridges will also be constructed.
It has been informed that a road with divider will be constructed for safety and this road will be 62 meters wide. With the country’s development budget now being invested in the basic needs of the people, roads are being built in a systematic way with huge investments. It is said that the road to Satantobato, Ekantakuna will be fully prepared in two lanes. As the population pressure continues to rise, flyovers are being built to make it easier for vehicles and people. He said he would return to normal lanes, picking up the middle charlene in Guarco, becoming a flyover in the intersection.

He said that the new space will be created in such a way that the vehicles will not be stopped due to traffic jam. He said that the flyover was being constructed to solve the problem as many vehicles were plying on the road and patients had to stay on the road for hours at a time. He said that the new technology will take the work forward by looking at all the religious and economic sectors of Nepal in a way to make it easier for the passengers by increasing the number of four lines.
Initially, traffic was a problem, but consumers can benefit in many ways, DC said. He said that despite the beautiful development works, the complaints of the locals would also come, adding that the work has been taken forward by cooperating with all. Due to the problem of roads in different places in the valley, the roads in different parts of Kathmandu are being gradually changed, making it easier for the people, he said. He said that the flyover being constructed for the first time in Nepal will also be interesting.
