In the Mumbai cruise drug raid case, Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was sentenced to judicial imprisonment following a lengthy court hearing on Thursday afternoon. For at least another night, he would not be returning to Mannat, his Mumbai residence.
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has requested that Aryan Khan and seven other defendants in the case be held in jail until October 11. The magistrate, on the other hand, did not give the same and instead sentenced them to fourteen days in judicial detention.
Satish Maneshinde, Aryan Khan’s lawyer, has requested that his client be granted bail. At 11 a.m. on Friday, the sessions court will hear the bail application.
Without a negative Covid-19 test report, Aryan Khan and the others who have been committed to judicial custody cannot be sent to jail, according to Covid procedure. As a result, they’ll be staying in the NCB headquarters on Thursday night. The magistrate has allowed them permission to meet with their relatives.
