Sujita Bhandari Chitwan case, Poison bags were found in the forest

Locals have blocked the East-West Highway demanding fact-finding on Sujita Bhandari. They also blocked the highway by stopping the bodies being brought by the police. The road at Rapti Municipality-3 Jhurjhure has been blocked since 10:15 am.

The body of Sujita Bhandari, 23, of Rapti Municipality-3, who had been without contact since June 26, was found dead in the bush of Brahmasthani Community Forest, about four kilometers from her house on Sunday evening.

A complaint was lodged with the police alleging that Bhandari had been abducted. The last time Bhandari called her sister, she told him that she had been abducted by a group of three. A team of the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police was also deployed to investigate the incident.

Police analyzed the contents of Bhandari mobile phone including call detail record (CDR), SMS and messenger but no clue was found. A few months ago, there was a connection with a young man, but no connection was found recently. But after his body was found on Sunday, the incident has taken a new turn.

At the District Police Office, Chitwan, Superintendent of Police Om Adhikari said that Bhandari body was found stuck in a slope. A bottle of spray was found near the spot where the body was found. The poison used to kill Patera has been found in the bottle.
