The Voice of Nepal is international TV singing reality series in the Nepalese format called The Voice . it si created by John De Mol, directed by Laxman Paudel and presented by Sushil Nepal. Ithe country of origin is Nepal and its original languages are Nepali and English. The executive producer of this show are Pralhad Singh Mahat, Sushil Nepal and John De Mol. The editor of this show are Sohan Manandhar,Buddha Ratna Maharjan, Sajan Shah, Sudeep Shrestha and Sandip Rai. The running time of this show is 160 minutes. This show is first released on 25th August 2018. This show is hosted by Sushil Nepal and Oshnin Sitaula. It was presented by Kantipur Television for the first time and later shifted on Himalayan Television in 2019.
The first season of The voice of Nepal is won by CD Vijaya Adhikari from Team Deep and winner of The Voice of Nepal Season 2 is Ram limbu from Team Pramod. The Grand Finale was held at Taragaon Open Field, Chuchchepati, in Kathmandu on 7 December 2019. The series is directed by Laxman Paudyal. The host of the new series is Sushil Nepal (2018 onwards) & Oshin Sitoula (2018).
The audition for The Voice of Nepal (season 2) was taken from “The Voice of Nepal app” for iOS and Android. For the first time, through various social medias like Facebook as well. The coaches are Deep Shrestha, Pramod Kharel, Astha Raut and Raju Lama. The series is directed by Laxman Paudyal, the former director of Nepal’s first international franchise singing reality show Nepal Idol season 1.
Now season 3 of The Voice of Nepal is running and Pramod Kharel, Deep Shrestha, Raju Lama and Trishna Gurung are the coaches of this reality show. About 120 contestants are participating in this show. According to the program director Laxman Paudel, a total of 40,000 people applied for the show. Selected 120 will take part in blind audition. coaches will select 12 contestants each and they will participate in the battle round.
