KP Sharma Oli has suspended Madhav Kumar Nepal and Bhim Rawal from party membership for six months. Oli faction has started taking action against the leaders of the Madhav Nepal faction. The Oli faction has taken action against three leaders of the Madhav group for acting against the party’s interests. Action has been taken against three leaders of the Madhav Nepal group for being active in forming a parallel district committee in Arghakhanchi.

They have been expelled from the party. CPN-UML Secretariat member Ram Bahadur Chouhan, Constituent Assembly member and party organized member Dr. Duman Singh Thapa and Siddhi Prasad Bhusal have been taken into custody. They have been expelled from the party. A meeting held on Monday decided to expel him saying that he was active in activities against the party’s interest. It has been decided to expel them without leaving any party members. UML Arghakhanchi Chairman Chetnarayan Acharya has confirmed this.

Chauhan was the then district secretary of the UML. A 70-member parallel committee headed by Chauhan was announced on Saturday alone. Chauhan, who was expelled from the party, said that he was involved in the organization restructuring campaign. He said that even if action is taken, his party’s reorganization campaign will not be stopped. Meanwhile, in Karnali, the leaders of CPN-UML’s Oli faction and Madhav Nepal’s faction have united. The CPN-UML, which won 20 out of 40 seats in Karnali, has joined hands to topple the Mahendra Bahadur Shahi-led government. Shahi is the leader of the CPN-Maoist Center. It is seen that both the parties of UML can unite to remove his leadership. Leaders have said that the door is now open for the CPN-UML to form a single government.

Earlier, the UML Oli faction had decided to withdraw its support to Shahi and submitted a letter. However, the government was strong because the Madhav Nepal MPs of the same party agreed to it.
